Can We Become an “Interesting Company”?

With the continued support of our customers, we were able to maintain a continuous growth trajectory last year. In addition to each IT service field, such as system development, infrastructure construction, operation, maintenance and monitoring, product sales and associated services also progressed smoothly, and the gears in each business field work together to drive the entire company’s business.
At the beginning of the year, we would like to summarize our review of last year and our direction for this year. (CEO: Kenichi Suga)
Ensuring a strong foothold for global operations
Last year, we got our IT solutions business in the Czech Republic on a real project basis, but this year, we will put the solutions that have just started up on a stable track, and for the future, we will enter a phase where we will introduce new approaches (use cases and functions). In addition, at the end of last year, we realized a strategic partnership with Czech company Logmanager, and in the future, we plan to promote the development of the company’s solutions in Japan. Logmanager is a product that has already been integrated with Flowmon, and we believe that it will be a realistic SIEM product option for customers who use Flowmon’s security plugin ADS.
Up until now, we have promoted the vertical expansion of our business by enhancing our product portfolio with IT products made in the Czech Republic at the core, but in the future, we would like to deliver these solutions, including our own solutions, to customers in the AP region. We have supported the business of Japanese customers in China through our affiliated company in China, but starting this year, we will take the next step to expand our business horizontally.
Creating a unique identity for the company
Last year, we supported Milan Prokop , a player from the Czech Republic who played against the Japanese team in the WBC, and participated in baseball-based exchange events with the Czech Republic promoted by the Chiba Lotte Marines, and have been working on activities in non-IT fields. Participating in these baseball-based exchange events has also had a positive side effect of connecting with local Czech officials, and we were given the opportunity to visit the stadium of the Brno Dragons (Draci Brno), a team with many championship records in the European baseball league.
This year, I would like to continue to take each step forward with a positive attitude so that we can create the next step. We also had Mr. Akira Nishino, who has a wealth of experience as a coach in international soccer matches, give a lecture at our company meeting , and received non-IT stimulation from various angles centered on sports. I hope that this stimulation will transform into the power to bring out the individuality of myself and each employee.
In our company, we are also moving from the experimental stage to the practical stage in several initiatives to promote diversity. In light of recent changes in the working population, we have confirmed the effectiveness of a teaming model in which senior people with extensive experience at major IT companies participate and lead various projects.
This is not a model where you simply lead an organization as a manager, but rather a system where you can utilize your abundant project experience and demonstrate your abilities while also nurturing young people on site. I have heard the voices of senior employees who have said, “It’s interesting to work with employees younger than my children, sometimes clashing with each other as the work goes along.” and I feel that a new model is taking shape.
Becoming an “Interesting Company” with many different faces
I hope that the company itself is an optimistic place. No matter how careful you are in the planning stage, exceptions occur and stomach-churning problems in the field are impossible to completely avoid in IT services. Even in such situations, I worked on it sincerely and positively, and I will never forget when the person in charge finally said to me, “You did a great job.” I want to keep a smile on my face in my mind, knowing that there is always some solution to any problem.
As an extension of that, I want the company to have many faces and to be a place where people can have a heart-moving expansion among the various options. I know that I still have a lot to work on, but I want to share this expansion with all employees and make it a stage where people think, “This is an interesting company, so I want to work here.” This year, we will continue to work toward making our company an “Interesting Company” through each and every employee, including future global expansion and various sports-related initiatives.
Conclusion
This year, there will be the the World Expo which is an international event to be held in Osaka, and the Czech Republic is actively preparing to exhibit there. Several IT vendors that we work with are also considering contributing to the exhibit. On the other hand, last year was also a social situation that created various unstable factors at the global level. We hope that by directly and indirectly supporting efforts to promote collaboration across borders, including cooperation with the World Expo, we can contribute to the initiative to restore stability to society.
The zodiac sign for 2025 is the snake. We will be flexible but persistent and make this year an interesting one. I sincerely pray that this will be a peaceful year for all of us: our customers, partners, employees, and their families.
